Erwin N. Sturtevant

native of Ohio, Erwin N. Sturtevant passed his early years in that state, in Missouri and in Iowa. He received a common school education, and then engaged in farming. December 14, 1887, he arrived in California; going first to Pomona, where he remained a year, then coming to Redlands, where he has lived ever since. March 18, 1896, he was married to Miss Fannie Norton, of Redlands. On the first of March, last, he was appointed night watchman for the city, and is now serving in that capacity. Mr. Sturtevant has been prominent in the Odd Fellows and Junior Order fraternities, having held the highest offices in the gift of the local lodges.
