F.M. Hunt
|
.
M. Hunt was born in Michigan, February 16, 1849; lived in that state until
twenty-one years of age and then moved to Ohio where he remained until
he came to California in 1886 and to Redlands the following year. Mr.
Hunt learned the carpenter's trade early in life and followed it in Ohio
and California. On coming to Redlands he bought a ten-acre ranch, in the
Chicago Colony on Citrus Avenue, where he now resides, having given up
his former occupation as carpenter for orange growing, and the growing
of citrus and olive nursery stock. He has made a success of the latter,
of which he has made a specialty. He was married in Ohio to Miss Clara
Church, and they have two children. Mr. Hunt was a director and
secretary of the East Redlands Water Company from 1889 to January 1897.
