T.M. Blythe

r. T. M. Blythe was born at Vincennes, Ind. December 18, 1857. He graduated from Hanover College at Hanover, Ind., and from Bellevue Medical College of New York City, in class of 1880. He at once entered upon the active practice of his profession, at Nora Springs, Iowa, where he remained from March 1st, 1880 until August 1882, and then removed to Mason City, Iowa. He resided there and continued to practice his profession until November 1887, when he came to California.

Dr. Blythe's first residence in this state was at Oceanside, where he remained for four years, coming to Redlands in November 1891. Since that time he has practiced medicine in this city. For two years from June 15, 1893, Dr. Blythe was in partnership with Dr. C. A. Sanborn. He was married at Albia, Iowa, Nov. 1, 1888 to Miss Imogen Carrier. He was one of the charter members of Redlands Lodge, No. 186 K. of P., and is a Past Chancellor and very active worker in the order. He has represented the lodge in the meetings of the Grand Lodge and at other conventions of the order.
